Mäntsälä Airfield, location indicator EFMN, is one of the region's most active and versatile flying sites. The field is known for its excellent conditions, open airspace, and great facilities that attract enthusiasts from further afield.
Facilities and Special Features
EFMN is particularly popular among scale glider, large model, and jet model pilots. The scale and wide-open lines of the airfield provide plenty of space for even the most demanding models.

Clubhouse: The field has its own clubhouse that serves as a base for enthusiasts. It provides space for taking breaks, charging batteries, maintaining equipment, and enjoying relaxed coffee break chats.

Development of the field area: We are constantly developing the airfield! A new cross-runway is currently under construction/on the way, which will further improve flying opportunities and enable safe takeoffs and landings regardless of wind direction.

Large grass runway (70 m x 40m): A well-maintained and flat grass field ensures smooth takeoffs and soft landings for various sizes of model aircraft and helicopters.

FPV Drone track: The area features a separate track dedicated to FPV drones. It provides just the right mix of challenge and practice opportunities for both recreational pilots and those interested in high-speed racing.

Open flight sector: The field is surrounded by open terrain, ensuring excellent visibility and a safe airspace for flying.

The Kullo flying field is designed for all club members—from beginners to veteran pilots. At the field, you will meet fellow enthusiasts, get tips for tuning your gear, and enjoy doing things together in good company.
